Anatoliy Belov (b. 1977, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian graphic designer, performer, director, musician, and frontman of the queer band Lyudska Podoba. He was one of the co-founders of the R.E.P. group, which became a significant hub on Ukraine’s artistic map after the Orange Revolution. Belov's works often take the form of musical performances, graphic works, and video works. His artistic practice is a process of self-discovery of his physical and sexual identity, the interaction of the individual with society, and the visibility of the LGBTQ+ community in Ukrainian culture through various artistic means. Graduated from the department of book graphics of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute". He was a resident of: the Center for Contemporary Art founded by Soros, Kyiv (2005), Contemporary Art Association, Graz (2009), POST-STUDIO TALES, District Berlin, Berlin (2012), Kultur Kontakt Austria, Vienna (2012). His video “Sex, Мedicated, Rock-n-Roll” (2013) received the public prize of the PinchukArtCentre Award and is in the permanent collection of the MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art (Kraków).
