Mark Chehodaiev was born in 1997 in Kyiv. He studied stage design at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Ukraine). In 2019 he graduated from the contemporary art course at the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts. He is interested in art that involves a special type of relationship with the viewer, usually encouraging them to participate or showing a certain engagement. Often these are practices created in a specially defined place. Since 2021, he has been continuing his studies at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, specialising in site-specific art. Lives and works in Vienna.
