Ivan Grabko’s Open End will be on view from 9 to 11 April at The Naked Room, 2a Zolotovoritska Street.
This one-work exhibition continues and develops the ideas of Grabko’s previous project, Wonderwall, which took place in an abandoned building on Velyka Zhytomyrska Street in November last year.
“In the space between an era of destruction and our own time, which cannot yet be defined, thought detaches itself from the object and moves towards the subject—as a temporary sculpture. Time sheds the marks of destruction and takes on the qualities of gathering,” the artist comments.
