Taras Kovach

Taras Kovach was born in 1982 in Uzhhorod. He graduated from the Uzhhorod Professional College of Arts named after A. Erdélyi in 2002 and the Department of Graphics at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in 2008 under Professor A. Chebykin. Winner of the first prize of the All-Ukrainian Triennial of Graphics in 2009. Works in graphic art, creating objects and installations. Kovach teaches at the Department of Graphics at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He is involved in preserving and developing the creative workshops at 33 Soshenko Street. Since June 2022, Taras has been volunteering with the Dobrobat construction battalion, which helps rebuild Ukrainian settlements affected by the full-scale russian invasion. Lives and works in Kyiv.
